Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior-Level Operations in the Infromation Environment (OIE) Planner who has experience on programs and projects supporting operations in U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM). This position is located. The OIE Planner is expected to provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment of information operations; creative use of information systems and information related capabilities (IRC); integration with inter-agency and intelligence community (IC); knowledge of and ability to develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information; and significant or key cultural considerations that affect operational and tactical planning. The OIE Planner must be able to interact at the COCOM level audiences to assist in the development of OIE planning in support other organizations as needed. The OIE Planner will conduct responsive OIE analysis, planning and targeting support to augment designated commands during training, exercises, and deployments and operations. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level IOE-related directives in support of maneuver elements. They will also assist planning efforts using various processes e.g., Joint Planning Process (JPP).

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

    Active TS/SCI
  • 12 years of experience, managing or supporting programs (Transition-in, Resource Management, and Staffing Roles). (BS 12-15, MS 10-13, Phd 10+)
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Program Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Have thorough understanding of related doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures associated with the specified task.
  • Knowledge in JOPP, MDMP, and MCPP planning and targeting processes and expertise in developing and accessing tactical and operational level IO plans and orders.
  • Experience with integrating, coordinating, and synchronizing adjacent and supporting operations, as well as developing support for related capabilities and their activities. Be familiar with, certified in, or have applicable operational/field time experience in:
    • Military Information Support Operations (MISO) / (formerly Psychological Operations (PSYOP))
    • Military Deception (MILDEC)
    • Operations Security (OPSEC)
    • Tactical Electronic Warfare (EW)
    • Cyberspace Operations
    • SIGINT related activities
    • Ability to work effectively within a task organized working group and expertise with planning, integrating, and coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community entities.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.

Prefered Qualifications:

  • Recent Joint or Service Level Information Operations planning experience.
  • Desired Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
    • Army Information Operations Planner Course (AIOPC)
    • Military Information Support Operations Integration Course (MISOIC)

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
