Job Purpose: The role of the Process Controlling Professional is designed to support the growing needs of our supply chain finance operations by focusing on reviewing and managing data to ensure the company is operating according to sound accounting principles and financial standards. The main focus is on monthly reporting, analytics, and forecasting activities to deliver a sustainable path of profitability and growth.

Key Accountabilities:

Monthly Closure

  1. Run monthly closure activities in SAP for Inventory Revaluation. Partner with corporate to resolve issues and ensure proper allocation.
  2. Perform inventory adjustments to reconcile against accruals and book journal entries in SAP, maintaining proper documentation for auditors.
  3. Track actuals and perform Balance Sheet reconciliations for Finished Goods, Raw Materials, and Packaging.
  4. Prepare monthly variance analysis actuals versus budget and forecast.
  5. Assist with month-end close postings and reconciliations as needed.

Modeling and Analysis

  1. Perform retrospective analysis for capital expenditure projects.
  2. Develop and maintain costing database for dynamic reporting and analysis.
  3. Validate pricing set up for budget costing and production bills of materials.

Business Partnering

  1. Collaborate cross functionally to help drive business initiatives.
  2. Partner with plant controllers and corporate colleagues to enhance financial reporting and communication to management.
  3. Serve as a backup resource for pricing inputs into SAP.
  4. Help to track and validate cost savings.
  5. Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.

Additional Information:

  1. Bachelor's Degree Required (concentration in Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain)
  2. Three to five years' experience within supply chain finance or data analytics
  3. Strong aptitude for assessing large datasets and deriving key performance-related insights.
  4. Proficient in MS Office suite with advanced skills in Access and Excel, adept at downloading and analyzing data in both applications.
  5. SAP, BI, and EPM experience preferred.
  6. Proven ability to excel with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative in task execution.
  7. Demonstrate the ability to foster cross-functional alignment among teams through effective communication and collaboration.
