YOUR PURPOSE:

As the Vice President of Land Management Technology, you will lead a diverse team of program managers, business analysts, developers, testers, and technical analysts. Your primary responsibility is to develop and deploy scalable software solutions at the enterprise level, aligning with the goals of Land Management and Horizontal Construction. Leveraging Palantir Foundry as a key enabler, you will drive insights, streamline operations, and implement advanced analytics. Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in leading software development, understanding SDLC best practices, engaging with senior executives, and implementing change management, process harmonization, and lean six sigma principles.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to a cross-functional team, ensuring the development and deployment of scalable software solutions that meet the needs of Land Management and Horizontal Construction.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Presidents to understand business goals, challenges, and provide technology-driven solutions.
  • Drive advanced analytics initiatives, leveraging insights to streamline operations and enhance decision-making processes.
  • Partner with Palantir Foundry to enable and optimize technological solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices and DevOps methodologies.
  • Engage with senior executives to communicate technology strategies, advancements, and their impact on business objectives.
  • Implement effective change management strategies to facilitate the smooth adoption of new technologies across the organization.
  • Drive process harmonization initiatives, incorporating lean six sigma principles to optimize operational processes.



Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in leading software development teams, with a track record of successfully deploying scalable software solutions at the enterprise level.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with senior executives, including Regional Presidents.
  • In-depth understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices and DevOps methodologies.
  • Competency in change management, process harmonization, and lean six sigma principles.
  • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry and its integration into software development and analytics processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Our Interview Process:

  • 30 minute preliminary screen
  • 3-4 interviews with members of our team

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. 10-20% travel time is required.
