Overview

Responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to VP, Treasury, and support department managers and/or department upon request.



Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support for VP, Treasury.
    • Answer/ screen incoming telephone calls and greet/screen guests in a friendly, polite, and professional manner; maintain calendar; schedule trips, etc.
  • Requires computer proficiency in various software programs for typing reports, business letters, memorandums, presentations, and other correspondence in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assist with the coordination and set up meetings and luncheons.
  • Order, secure and store office supplies, and track actual spend against the budget.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of vendor contracts, check requests and invoices when required.
  • Organize and maintain a central electronic filing system as well as working files for letters of credit, wire transfers and other Treasury administrative matters and chronological correspondence.
  • Make photocopies, fax and file documents for department as requested.
  • Assist payment processing team with "Swipe" virtual card payments
  • Assist with vendor enrollment calls for ACH and virtual card program.
  • Provide administrative support for letters of credit when required.
  • Position requires reliable, consistent and punctual attendance, in office 5 days/week.

Qualifications

  • Associate of Arts degree minimum, some general secretarial/business courses at qualified educational institutions preferred.
  • Two years' experience working in an administrative position.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, professional demeanor.
  • Typing at 45-55 words per minute, accuracy is critical.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook & Office suite: Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Must be efficient and accurate working in a fast-paced office, and display initiative in getting things done.
