Job Description

The Enrollment Educator is responsible for conducting enrollment meetings related to new sales, renewals, and benefit changes for multiple Florida platform customers to include benefits administrators and groups of employees. This role will function independently and have full accountability for the presentation of meetings.

Important to Know

  • This position covers the Ft. Lauderdale, FL region and requires the applicant to reside in South Florida or surrounding area
  • Must be able to travel frequently; weekly air and/or road travel within the State of Florida for client and corporate meetings, events, training, etc.
  • Hold Current Florida 2-15 insurance license.

What Will You Be Doing

Enrollment Meetings

  • Conduct formal and information presentations on-site at customer locations.
  • Recommend benefit options to employees based on individual needs.
  • Provide guidance to Influence employee decision to choose/purchase company plans when presented with multiple plan options, uninsured and multiple financial options.
  • Capture items for follow-up and ensure resolution.

Communication and Coordination

  • Identify issues with customer or agents and notify Sales or Renewal Representative.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure appropriate resolution.

Support

  • Provide support to large enrollment preparation or assistance with presentation development as needed.
  • Facilitate and/or support selling of value-added services for Large Group Health Fairs.

Performance Management

  • Evaluate enrollment presentations to ensure materials are appropriate and effective; recommend revisions and/or process improvements as appropriate.
  • Assist with pick up and delivery of enrollment related materials for customers or agents
  • Facilitate and/or support selling of value-added services for Group Health Plans

What You Must Have

  • 0-1 year related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education with 1 year of experience with health insurance plans and administration
  • Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience
  • Current Florida 2-15 insurance license.
  • Ability to coordinate schedules and work with little or no supervision.
  • Superior public speaking skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Results oriented and excellent organizational skills.

General Physical Demands

  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
  • Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

  • Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $47,000 - $55,100
  • Annualized Salary Range: $47,000 - $71,600
  • Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
