This is a position for summer 2024 and will require 40 hours of work each week; regular business hours Monday - Friday. The pay is $21.50 per hour.

Position Overview:

Join our team as a Data Analyst Intern and embark on an exciting journey of discovery and insight generation. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop valuable skills in data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data from various sources.

- Clean, transform, and manipulate raw data to prepare it for analysis.

- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to present insights and findings.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns in the data.

- Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data analytics.

- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, preferred.

- Experience with statistical analysis and programming languages such as R or Python.

- Previous internship or coursework in data analysis or business intelligence.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
