System Administrator

LOCATION: Remote

LinTech Global is looking for a candidate to join our team as a System Admin to provide support to our IRSCI client. The main focus is to provide general expertise on configuration, operation, and maintenance of vulnerability management toolsets; (Tenable Security Center / Nessus, Qualys, IBM/HCL AppScan, Guardium, etc.) Assist with the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based. Assist with the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning. Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES and SKILLS
  • Provide general expertise on vulnerability and risk analysis.
  • Coordinate with system stakeholders and administrators to ensure risks are remediated, mitigated, or accepted, in accordance with Federal laws and Directives and Agency policy and processes.
  • Provide general expertise on development and execution of remediation/mitigation plans and strategies.
  • Provide assessment of the current state of the Vulnerability Management solutions deployed and future state.
  • Support the deploy, configure, operate, monitor, tune, upgrade and troubleshoot Vulnerability Management Solutions tasks.
  • Ensure Vulnerability Management solutions are configured in accordance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and/or applicable security checklists or hardening guides.
  • Coordinate with system administrators for operating system and infrastructure support and integration of vulnerability management solution(s) and approved software/agents into operating environment(s).
  • Coordinate with system administrators and other stakeholders to ensure 100% of endpoints have vulnerability scans conducted by the Vulnerability Management solution.
  • Create change requests and any other required documentation to integrate, install, operate, and maintain vulnerability management and remediation systems and tools properly and securely.
  • Experience in CI environment is a plus.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • B.A or B.S with at least 3 years specialized experience in related technology.
  • Experienced in topics such as complex networks, cloud technologies, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems design and implementation.
