The Technology Strategy & Architecture (TS&A) organization is responsible for building and maturing core capabilities to run Zoetis Tech & Digital with the discipline of a business, driving a cohesive approach to strategy planning, portfolio execution, and value realization while optimizing technology costs.

The Strategic Portfolio Management Office (SPMO) has a unique opportunity within the ZTD PMO for an experienced portfolio process lead who will be accountable for maintaining and maturing portfolio and project governance processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain our portfolio planning review process ensuring governance objectives and financial guidance are being met
  • Manage the project review and approval process confirming that projects have appropriately met all readiness requirements and addressed any open issues prior to governance board
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and mature current processes and documentation
  • Work with portfolio leads and project owners across ZTD to ensure Value Delivery Framework is understood and adhered to
  • Document portfolio and project execution governance processes
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, and variances to management for prompt resolution, propose resolutions and define mitigations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • PMP certification preferred but not required
  • 3-5+ years of experience in supporting PMO processes, portfolio and/or project management
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills preferred
  • Familiarity with agile methodology and tools (JIRA, Confluence) a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, fluency in English
  • Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer focus, navigating from problem to resolution
  • Strong presentation skills a plus
  • Ability to work independently, yet collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of organization

Travel: <10%

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in Colorado. Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.

Base Pay Range: $69,000 - $108,000

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in California, NJ Remote, NY Remote, or Washington. Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.

Base Pay Range: $78,000 - $122,000

This position is eligible for short-term incentive compensation.
